LOGIC: Electronic Steering Column Lock (ESCL) Interlock Malfunction. ACTION: Tap the ESCL motor housing lightly under the lower dash while pressing the start button. Check 12V supply and ground to the lock module; inspect internal DC motor commutator brushes.
