Diagnosis & fix steps

LOGIC: Fuel Pump Module Control Circuit Open. ACTION: Locate the fuel pump driver module (FPDM). Perform a voltage drop test on the module's main power feed and ground circuit under load.

Red Seal field insights

Control Logic: Modern vehicles do not use a simple relay to power the fuel pump; they pulse-width modulate (PWM) a driver module. An open circuit cuts communication between PCM and pump.
