Crane "locks out" and won't boom up or down.
System
LMI (RCL)
Symptom
Crane "locks out" and won't boom up or down.
Diagnosis & fix steps
LOGIC: Boom Angle or Radius out of range.
ACTION: Check the boom angle sensor (inclinometer) on the side of the boom. If it's physically level but reads wrong, re-calibrate the "Zero" angle.
Red Seal field insights
Specs: The old PAT LMI systems are sensitive to moisture in the boom-tip junction box. RED SEAL FIX: If the radius is jumping, check the length-cable tension; if it's slack, the sensor "hunts" and trips E01.
