Diagnosis & fix steps
Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 2).
LOGIC: The ECM sees an implausible voltage from the EGT sensor.

If you see the "Starts Remaining" countdown, do not ignore it. This code often triggers because of a broken wire at the sensor plug due to road debris. Repairing the wire usually clears the countdown without needing a dealer reset.
