Diagnosis & fix steps
LOGIC: Water-in-Fuel (WIF) Sensor Signal Voltage High (Sensor Disconnected).
ACTION: Inspect bottom sediment bowl on primary fuel filter. Test 2-wire conductivity probe on base of plastic bowl; verify harness ground return to chassis and drain trapped water into a glass sample container.

Plastic Sensor Breakage: Hand-tightening or stone impacts crack the brittle plastic drain petcock sensor threads on the bottom of the fuel filter, severing the internal electrical pins.
