LOGIC: Engine Speed (Crank) Sensor - Data Erratic. ACTION: Check the sensor tip for metal shavings (swarf). Verify air gap.

Specs: Gap: .020"–.040". PRO-TIP: If the sensor is magnetic, it pulls "junk" out of the oil. A dirty sensor can't "see" the teeth on the gear.
