Diagnosis & fix steps

LOGIC: Rail Pressure Sensor Range Fault. ACTION: Check the 5V reference at the sensor; inspect harness for rubbing against the valve cover.

Diagnosis & fix steps

LOGIC: Common Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor Calibration Drift. ACTION: Disconnect common rail sensor plug. Check signal output at key-on engine-off (must read exactly 0.98V–1.02V). If signal reads >1.15V with zero fuel pressure, replace the fuel rail assembly.

Zero-Pressure Drift: High-pressure hydraulic pulses fatigue the internal piezo-crystal diaphragm, shifting baseline voltage high and causing the Denso ECM to under-fuel the engine.
