Diagnosis & fix steps

ACTION: 1. Check coolant level. 2. Unplug sensor; if code stays FMI 03, signal wire is shorted. 3. Inspect Wire 110 (White).

If the engine isn't actually hot, check the ground wire (Pink 496). A loose ground here often makes the ECM think the temperature is "maxed out."
