Boom Lifts Uncommanded or Won't Lower

Diagnosis & fix steps

LOGIC: Single-Lever Joystick Lift Axis Hall-Effect Sensor Calibration Drift. ACTION: Connect JCB ServiceMaster diagnostic software. Check live voltage on Primary (0.5–4.5V) and Secondary (4.5–0.5V) channels; perform deadman neutral calibration sweep.

Red Seal field insights

Dual-Track Opposing Sweeps: Joysticks use opposing voltage sweeps; if the sum of Channel A and Channel B deviates from 5.0V by more than 0.25V, the MCU locks out that axis.
