Diagnosis & fix steps

LOGIC: System Battery Supply Voltage Low (<10.5V on 12V bus). ACTION: Test battery cold-cranking voltage under load. Inspect main battery ground cable bolted to the painted chassis frame (scrape paint to bare metal); check alternator belt tension and charging voltage (>13.8V).

Red Seal field insights

Painted Ground Studs: Factory assembly often bolts ground eyelets straight over thick frame paint, creating high-resistance circuits that drop bus voltage under starter draw.
