Machine Won't Move / Range Drops to Neutral

Diagnosis & fix steps

LOGIC: Forward Directional Solenoid Valve Open Circuit. ACTION: Disconnect transmission control valve solenoid harness. Measure coil resistance on the Forward proportional clutch solenoid (~18–24Ω); check transmission control lever (DW-3 / ZF WG200 shifter) harness under steering column.

Red Seal field insights

Shift Lever Micro-Switching: High-cycle loader cycling from forward to reverse wears the internal contacts inside the steering column directional shift stalk, dropping the 24V supply to the solenoid.
