Limp Mode. DEF dosing stops immediately.
Diagnosis & fix steps
Reductant Injector Circuit Open (Bank 1).
LOGIC: The Control Module sees an open electrical path to the dosing valve.

Red Seal Fix: Unplug the injector and measure resistance (usually 12–15 Ohms). If the injector is good, check for a broken wire near the exhaust where heat makes the insulation brittle.

No Dosing. The system stops injecting DEF; "Service Required" on Litronic display.
Diagnosis & fix steps
Reductant Injection Valve Circuit Open.
LOGIC: The DCU detects a break in the wiring to the DEF injector (doser).
ACTION: Check the harness connector at the doser for vibration damage.

Pro-Tip: Don't just look for broken wires. On drilling rigs, the heat-wrap on the exhaust can trap moisture, causing the pins in the doser connector to rot. Pull the plug and check for green corrosion.
