Diagnosis & fix steps

LOGIC: Shift Solenoid "A" (SS1) Performance / Stuck Off. ACTION: Drop the transmission oil pan. Remove solenoid SS1; test coil resistance (~11–15Ω) and apply 12V while blowing regulated low-pressure shop air through the orifice. Inspect the lower valve body plate for metal debris holding the valve spool open.
